Calgary Residential Pool & Spa

Inspired by the owner's experiences in the West Coast of Mexico, the entire basin of the pool and spa was finished with glass pebble tile, creating a billiant, tropical-like turquoise finish. Various handcrafted Mexican mosaics were incorporated into the tile work, including a 5.5m (18ft) coral reef mural on the pool floor.

The "L-Shaped" swimming pool has a gradual depth of 1 - 1.8 m (3.5 to 6ft) and includes an underwater bench and dry drink table. Providing a great lounge area for pool parties.

The spa, located beside the pool, allows the owners to soak away their aches and pains in warm, jetted, hydrotherapeutic waters. Large windows surround the spa, creating a flow with the outdoors.

The large water feature wall, includes various spray jet features and are a huge hit with the children.

To make maintenance and operation easier, we included automatic chemistry and water level equipment which allows the owners to control their pool equipment, including the covers, lighting and water features with a push of a button.

Testimonial

We wanted to send you a thank you for building our new pool. We are very pleased.

The tile work is absolutely exquisite including the beautiful hand built Mexican mosaics and the iridescent pebble tiles surrounding (Your tile setter has done very good work here considering how tedious these type of tiles are). The pool design work went smoothly with your in-house design team(extremely personable and easy to get along with), to give us the overall pool shape we desired complete with with the automatic pool covers for both the pool and the hot tub (features we were previously told by others we could not get). The fibre optic lighting on the pool bottom gives us extraordinary night time ambiance along with the LED lights. The normal pool lighting provides excellent show of the mosaic tiles both during the day and night. The other features such as the water spray(s) are a hit with the kids. The extras such as the curving of the pool bottom into the walls is both easy on the eyes and on our feet and body parts.

As for the mechanical control equipment, the automatic water chemistry and level control equipment keeps maintenance to a minimum and worry free. The automatic valves make switching the pool’s water features on and off very user friendly.

Your flexibility in managing other work concerning the concrete pool area floor was completed efficiently and eliminated one extra trade.

Thank you for recommending our feature wall designer and working with him to produce the water fall effect within his scenic design. This type of art is one-of-a-kind.
